** I have searched for multiple threads on CL ** But still need some clarifications
So I'm looking into doing a custom audio setup for my 15 GS350 F-sport with ML.
I currently have a subwoofer already added using a Lc2i, but
If I want to change all my door/dash speakers powered through another multichannel amp... What are my options?
DSP? Multichannel Lineout converter (Ex LC8i)?
Any input would be appreciated. Thnx in advance
It seems like the line out converter is the easiest way. I'm pretty sure the factory amp uses digital signals for input instead of analog.
I'm interested to know the type of signal they're using in my 2013 GS. SPDIF or AES-EBU maybe. There are digital signal processors that can take those signals and convert them so I can use my old school amplifiers. Hehehe
Do you have any recommendations for a dsp.
I am looking at a few options such as
Audio Controls DQ-61
AC LC-Q1
JL Audio FiX 86
Audison Bit 10
Helix
***I am fairly new into this so correct me if I am wrong***
To use a dsp...
I would tap into the factory amp for signal (front/rear/sub) into a DSP, then DSP into my mono amp (sub) and 4 channel amp (highs)

A good place to get a Ton of experts to help you with this would be DiyMobileAudio.comCar Stereo Forum. Those Guy know everything car audio and the different Factory car systems. Many Pro Car Audio installers over there also.
I would recommend watching Five Star Car Stereo or Car Audio Fabrication on YouTube. Below is a great example of an audiophile setup in our 4th Gen. I am thinking of using the below items for my setup.

I'm curious to hear a system that uses the high level signals from the amplifier output to feed a DSP. I'm convinced that the factory amp in my GS changes the sound non-linearly at different output levels.

Checkout the Helix V series amp dsp.
I've recently upgraded the sub in the 2020 RX ML system https://www.clublexus.com/g/picture/22568661
Planning on Helix V Twelve, Morel or Brax and grounding upgrade
