I'm interested in doing this but going with a charcoal gray or gunmetal.... Anyone here repainted them that color?

Dark gunmetal would look nice. I too would like to see some gun metal wheels

Going for the Black Line look? Rims look like they came out pretty good, nice gloss. There's another member who did them all silver.. that's the color I want to try.

Looks good!
Did you spray them in the garage with the vehicles? How was the overspray?

Nice work, hopefully that lasts long term. I would highly recommend spraymax 2k clear coat:
Amazon Amazon

It's a two component clear coat, that sprays very smooth and much harder/durable/glossier than regular clear coat. I used it when I painted my calipers a couple years ago, still looks fantastic.

You need to take the wheels off and cover the entire car in plastic(buy from home depot). When you spay it goes into the air and it will land on the car even if your spaying on the other side of the garage.
