But won't I don't understand is what caused the engine to break like that?

Old dirty filter and very little sludgy looking oil would seem to be a clue. It was the loose nut behind the wheel...

Can’t seem to understand what they were talking about on oil weights. Sounds like they think it was the oil.

Turn on Closed captions, then click settings and select english for the auto translate to get english subtitles.
