Schedule (vs. Mileage) driven maintenence
Working from home, I find that I'm putting very few miles on my GS350.
Lexus recommends maintenance every 6 months or 5,000 miles, whichever comes first. (Per Lexus: "Maintenance is best scheduled by months or miles, whichever comes first.")
What are your thoughts on low-mileage maintenance?

The 5k intervals are mainly tire rotations. I find it totally unnecessary and useless.
I rotate my tires every 10k miles when I do my oil change. The annoyance is having to reset the maintenance light in the dash, there is a youtube video on it. I set all my maintenance reminders in the infotainment systems, but that's separate from the dash, so it's a duplicate maintenance light for me.

I don't drive that many miles - well under 10k per year, far less during COVID. I just go by time and do my oil/filter and tire rotations once a year.

Tire rotations are the one schedule that should only be done by miles.
Most other maintenance items would be better associated with engine rotations, but we don't meter that or build maintenance schedules around it.
Can you imagine if you knew not only miles but also engine rotations? You'd know right away whether grandma drove it on the highway or cousin Eddie was racing it daily.
