Default Proper Maintenance Intervals

Hey Guys,

I've searched and searched and cannot find details of what is done and recommended for each service. Now I know most, if not all of the people on this forum say that every 5,000 miles is overkill.

Does anyone has a detailed list of what lexus does every 5k to the car? The average price for each service?

This was taken off the lexus website, but has ZERO details on what is done/price.

Any help would be great. Someone want to take a stab?

Have you checked your owners documents in the glove box? As I recall, there is a pamphlet that contains exactly what you're looking for.

thanks for the quick answer guys.

yes, i found the outline for each schedule maint, very helpful - i'm not an expert, but it seems overkill every 5k. ive read all the threads about oil changes at 5k, 10k and even 15k - but what about the other maintenance items? we're in 2008, and i have a brand new car. checking my brakes and bolts and other things, i think its a waste of money to go every 5k. when my brakes are low, a sensor will trigger and the icon will illuminate in my dash, or i'll hear squeaking. not rocket science. i would think i could skip the 15k and 25k visits and not be ****. anyone on the same page as me?

does anyone have pricing for each visit?

this was my latest:

1k: Free; LPSettings
5k: Free; Oil change/Inspection/Safety check
10k: $109; Oil change/Tire Balance/Inspection/Safety check
