Default chrome delete...gloss or matte black vinyl wrap?

Did some research on here and not sure what the majority wrapped their window trim and front grill with gloss or matte black. Thinking about doing it in the next couple of days. So the question is, gloss or matte black on Atomic silver? Appreciate it folks!

On atomic silver, i vote gloss black. I've seen a few GS's where the matte finish seemed to cheapen the overall look of the car. The GS F has a "black chrome" type finish around the grille surround which looks really good IMHO:

Most economy cars have matte black plastic trim, it's a cheap unfinished surface meant to save money.

If you don't like the gloss look, you can do satin black, not unfinished like matte, but also has some sheen to it for a nice sleek look. Personally for my car I use gloss black to de-chrome the trim.

Both will look good, purely preference.
The only advantage with gloss for the window trim is that it matches the factory vertical posts between windows.

What about matte with a gloss finish? My Friends Porsche has it and it looks good.

He probably has satin Black, it's in between matte and gloss black.

Yes Satin Black! You can only see it in a certain light that it's matte. Kinda cool.

You're absolutely right Peasodos, satin black would look nice. The reason I posted this thread is to get a general idea what people used when they wrapped their window trim. I seen lots of pic but nothing stating which one they went with. Might stick with my guns and go with Satin Black. Appreciate it!

If your GS is 2016+ and want a near perfect color match to the front grill lower bumper inserts then go with Avery Dennison Supreme Wrap in Gloss Black Metallic which is a 95% match to the color of the grill and lower bumper inserts. The gloss or satin black would contrast to much IMO. I did have to also wrap the B pillars so the OEM black would not contrast against the window trim.
