Default Bluetooth Radio Issues

Bluetooth/ Radio Issues

Bluetooth/ Radio loses sound and goes silent intermittently. My phone has trouble connecting to my bluetooth and when it does it goes silent. If i have try to make a phone call on Bluetooth it goes silent also. As does the radio. 2014 Lexus GS 350 f-sport. Can’t establish a convention to my phone with Bluetooth

1) how frequently or recently have you turned your phone fully Off, cold/dark off?
Phone will work as a phone without cycling but will play better with others when re-booted.

2) Check the device name in your phone's Bluetooth setup. It should read "Car Multimedia" or "Lexus GS"
If it reads "Car Accessory System" then it needs to be unpaired and repaired. Note: when paring any phone
watch the Bluetooth connection screen in the phone and WAIT until it reads the actual car name, not Car Accessory System.

3) Are you charging the phone while driving? Plug the USB cable into a 12v dc charger in the power port, not the USB jack.
The USB jack is best for an iPod that is not a phone.

4) Current iOS installed in the phone?

What phone do you have? Can you update the software to get the newer bluetooth release on it?

Maybe have another phone pair to it to see if it's really the phone or car.

Would these help?

1) Check this TSB out.
https://www.carcomplaints.com/Lexus/...1-17-rev.shtml

2) Here's another site on the fix. I ran into similar issue on another vehicle like this.

https://www.autoconnectedcar.com/201...mercedes-benz/
(look at the The Nuke-it Fixes)

3) https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...e-driving.html

4) The bluetooth module maybe bad and needs replacing.
