Most of the cars I see around me are black, white, or gray. I wanted something different. A few days ago we got curbside pickup at the ice cream shop. I told them "It's the red car." They didn't need any more information to bring us our ice cream.

Awesome! I would never have guessed - that soil color always reminds me of things a bit more north and west. I miss when so many of the roads up that direction had that orange/red color to them because of the aggregate they used in the 50s/60s to pave them. I think most are standard asphalt color now - although knowing New Mexico I'm sure there are a few stretches that haven't been paved since the 50s .
