Awesome! I would never have guessed - that soil color always reminds me of things a bit more north and west. I miss when so many of the roads up that direction had that orange/red color to them because of the aggregate they used in the 50s/60s to pave them. I think most are standard asphalt color now - although knowing New Mexico I'm sure there are a few stretches that haven't been paved since the 50s
