Awesome picture...makes me miss NM..... mind sharing where you were near in that photo? Some of those little two lane back roads are so fun to drive on.

Wow that looks like two totally different colours in and out of the shade. I've never seen one IRL, I'm sure it's very nice.

That location is on Unser Blvd, northern Rio Rancho.

Awesome! I would never have guessed - that soil color always reminds me of things a bit more north and west. I miss when so many of the roads up that direction had that orange/red color to them because of the aggregate they used in the 50s/60s to pave them. I think most are standard asphalt color now - although knowing New Mexico I'm sure there are a few stretches that haven't been paved since the 50s .
