I was thinking the exact same thing lolololol. Seems like he could just splice them back together. It appears to be a $1 fix unless Im missing something here.

so I did end up splicing and soldering the wires back together barely had enough slack to do so on the adapter itself. But manage to do so. I ended up ordering a new one incase it fails again. BUT IT WORKS!!! Thanks everyone for chiming in! Appreciate it.

@itztwinki3 just curious which part number or which aftermarket part your purchased? Some of the parts diagrams aren't too clear about that specific wire that was chewed up...
