Default Side Mirrror Wrap

First I just want to say Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there regardless whether they're 4GS owner or not. LOL. Second, I would like to know if any of you all wrapped the side mirrors to achieve the GSF or Black line look? Please share.

TOMS Racing Mirror Covers in Carbon Fiber are popular. I have never seen black vinyl used.

I have mine wrapped in black vinyl. They were wrapped in 2 pieces as I was told single piece wouldnt be as clean of an install. I can't tell the difference since the seam is hidden on the inside and under parts of the mirror.

Another option would be to buy the OEM mirror cover/housing in black ~$80/ea:

If you take apart the mirror base you can wrap it in one piece, instead of having a seam, but more work involved. Personally not a big fan of the black or non body color side mirrors, not trying to highlight my side mirrors. I do agree you need to wrap the base otherwise it doesn’t look good imo.

Agreed. Regardless of the method used (wrap, paint, carbon covers), the base of the mirror is the most challenging part.

I never understood the those hideous grey mirrors on the GSF.

Same with the crafted line, except it's black. I don't understand why you would want the side mirrors to stand out.

It enhances the looks depending on the color. But enhancement is relative to the user.
