I left my Can Lo and high off, no need to connect, no need the hood switch also. It is either the programming or hardness like you guys said.
I got my kit from here: https://shop.mypushcart.com/plug-n-p...5-lexus-gs350/

I ended up returning everything. It just doesn't recognize the lock signal but it recognizes when the car is on because the orange light is lit when the ignition is on. Maybe a hybrid vehicle is different. But after spending 2 weeks trying to figure it out, I threw the towel in. I got tired of tearing the dash apart multiple times. hahaha.

Maybe I will try to the kit from MPC but I don't see how different it would be since the MPC is a Fortin kit.

For those that install the MPC system, if you have the T-harness is there a need to splice any wires (T-TAP)? I just want to confirm this before I start installing it.

EDIT: ok just noticed you guys didn't connect them

For just the remote start function I didn’t need to tap into any wires. Plug and play. The steering wheel harness is the one more to the right closer to being behind the push to start button. That one confused me for a while. Also when you get the blue light blinking your supposed to push the push to start button twice to complete the programming.

I installed originally using only the T harness. Using the Remote the car would start. Using the app the car would start but would not lock / unlock doors. Today I connected the CAN +/- connectors and now the doors lock/ unlock from the app.

Anyone that installed the app module where did you put it? The issues I was having with the app not always working was due to the location. I’ve moved it but what worked for you?

so I was told the MPC didn’t detect lock from my key fob because both of my fobs are aftermarket. They seem oem. I’m going to return as buying the mpc fobs brings me close to just buying compustar from Best Buy with free install. Complete waist of time!!

Default Same issue

I made sure that the CAN LO and CAN HI made a proper connection, otherwise, I don't think it would program. Anything else I should check?

I had the exact same issue you are having. I was told this was because I had an after market Lexus key fob.
