Yeah it's actually at Longo Lexus in El Monte - there's a Toyota dealership, a Lexus dealership and a collision repair center. I wasn't going to drop the name unless somebody asked 🙂

They know for a fact you are correct, they are a Lexus collision repair center. Do not accept and get management involved if you have too.

With the independent body shop I used I dealt only directly with the owner until his guys got it correct.

Even better. I have learned that Lexus corporate really takes care of its customers because they care about their reputation in the industry as a customer-centric company. I would suggest speaking with the dealership in a civil manner and ask them to make the repairs necessary to bring the bumper to OEM standards. If they refuse to provide further support, let them know you will have the Lexus Customer Assistance and Satisfaction team reach out to the DSM and RSM for that region to get this resolved. I am sure you will see their attitudes reverse a 180 degrees.

Thanks to everybody for their thoughts on this! I ended up finally getting the car back yesterday and things are finally back to pre-crash condition.

It took 5 separate pick-up attempts before the car was repaired correctly - and that's pathetic to me. Never again. I'm just thankful the car's in my driveway and not anywhere else.

They actually did a really good job there. I'm happy with it. I love this car and am glad it's back to perfect 🙂
