Default Head Unit Swap Question

I know the answer to this question is on CL somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Maybe this is an easy answer for someone on here.

I'm looking into buying a backup head unit for my 2016 Lux with ML. It's the one thing I worry about going wrong with this car and I plan to have it for the next 10 years at least. It would be worth it to me for the piece of mind if I can find one for $350 or so.

I tried searching a few used car part sites and they all ask for "face ID" number. For example:

receiver, ID P11144 (face ID)
receiver, ID P11152 (face ID)
receiver, ID P11154 (face ID)
receiver, ID P11157 (face ID)
receiver, ID P11167 (face ID)
receiver, ID P11172 (face ID)

Does it matter which one I pick/how do I find out the right one? Also, my understanding is I can use any head unit from 2016-2020, correct? The newer one will just have more up-to-date maps. If that's the case an added benefit is I could plug in the newer one and have the one with 2016 maps in reserve.

Any head unit 2016+ will work.

But you would be wasting your money, that head unit is expensive and hard to find. Your better off putting that money towards upgrading the head unit with apple carplay or android auto from Grom or Beatsonic. Not to mention the used head unit your buying is from a wrecked car. Just goes to show how bullet proof these head units basically are. A lot of mods I did on my car like the headlights, power trunk, some other modules all came from wrecked cars and they work 100% without issue.

My 2013 GS has about 100k miles and my original head unit had zero issues, sold it, now what I have a 2016 head unit in my GS.
