Can a 02 OEM head unit fit into a 99 GS?

the actual unit will fit in the space but I am not sure the wiring is the same.
I know for sure the wiring in the 02 with navi is different than the 99 with navi. Not sure if the one with regular unit is the same.

 

Yes. They're all 2DIN as far as non-navi system goes.

 

what i meant to ask was... can i use the wiring from the 99 to the 02 Head Unit?
