Hey everyone, this might be an old thread but I couldn’t find the solution related to issues with playing audio from your iPhone via USB. Initial connection is fine and music will play for a few minutes or so, then suddenly the connection to the phone will drop(no longer charging and no more sound) despite the phone still being physically connected. I read somewhere that it may have to do with the Bluetooth fighting for connection with the USB...or something like that. Does anyone have a solution aside from a dedicated iPod saying in the car?

 

Forget the Bluetooth, if you've lost charging then it's a cable issue. My advice, don't even try to use a non genuine cable in the car. Then add another iPhone and see if it does the same to eliminate the vehicle. Give it a wiggle.
