Can you locate the noise-making device and disconnect it?

I'm sure I can if I take the time. I have read that it is up front, behind the grill.

Sometimes it's just easier to complain than to make the effort to address the problem.

Oh wow, it's an option that could be turned off in some hybrids? No such switch in my GS450h, I wonder if it could just be disconnected.

All joking aside, I bet it turns the backseat audio control in the lux package on and off....

If you have an all-electric or hybrid car you need to have something to alert people that you are nearby. Personally, I recommend a train horn.

I reckon you can find the fuse (subscribe for 2 days on TIS) and just pull it.

So the question is, is there a GS out there without a blank button reminding you that you cheaped out? One with
Trac control
Blind spot
Headlight washer
Auto high beam
Heated steering wheel
Hybrid beeping noise

I've personally seen the cluster missing the heated steering wheel option(heated wheel only on the 450H here) and never seen the beeper... Maybe there's one hiding in Japan.

I think the current (refreshed) GS in North America cannot be optioned to fill all blanks. There are four switches, and mine only uses 3, and I don't think I left any options off. My 3 are the heated steering wheel, auto high beams, and traction control. BSM is now controlled through the display, and the headlight washer switch has been deleted as the function is incorporated into the windshield washer function (dislike).

I've got the same setup.

How do the headlight washers work? Don't have them on mine. Is it each time you wash the windshield or every certain # of windshield washes then the headlights get washed too? I think I remember seeing a Fifth Gear video years ago on the then-new W204 C-Class (2008-2014?) and the headlight washers would activate every 10th use of the windshield washers.
