Default Correct spark plugs?

2013 GS 350 AWD. I plan on replacing the spark plugs but want to make sure I have the right plugs. Total is about $73 from Advanced Auto with a discount code.

Here is the link: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...473/10477937-P

please let me know! Thank you

Yes, Denso FK20HBR11 is the correct spark plug for the 2013 GS 350.

In my opinion you are wasting your time and money because the OE spark plugs will last a minimum of 150,000 miles with no degradation in performance or fuel mileage. If you just want to replace the spark plugs simply for the experience, then have at it...but you won't see any difference whatsoever with new spark plugs.

BClexus - Thanks for verifying! I'm right at 106k and intermittently I do feel the car "vibrating" intermittently. Now, are you right? Yes. Some people don't change ANYTHING on their Toyota's and those cars last well beyond 200k. More so for peace in mind, you can say. Plus, for $73 can't beat them.

Have fun! FWIW, the Denso FK20HBR11 Iridium spark plug is also known as #3473 or UPC# 42511034730.

Fun facts:

There's not much iridium in the Earth's crust because it's very dense and bonds with iron, which caused most that was originally present to sink deep into the planet as it was cooling.

Iridium is found in much greater quantities in meteorites and in the rock strata formed in the wake of large impacts, and one of the largest current sources is near the Vredefort crater in South Africa.

Our spark plugs are partially extra-terrestrial.

I don't blame you. Having new plugs in at 100k helps me sleep at night.
Then again, dealing with plugs that break in half (Ford) has made me a bit paranoid. Yes, I know Toyota plugs are not Ford plugs.

Toyota doesn't make plugs. More than likely you have Denso plugs in your Toyota/Lexus and in your Ford. I had a plug snap once in my old Camry. They were made by Denso.

What caused the spark plug to 'snap'?

Was it over-torqued?

Most spark plugs that break (snap) are caused by using the wrong socket or the socket slips off the spark plug while ratcheting (either loosening or tightening).

Especially when they are over tightened, rusted in, or otherwise stuck.
I've broken plugs, but probably not in about 40 years.

I turn the spark plug until it stops, then do an extra quarter turn. There is not much torque needed for the spark plug. I've changed a spark plug 4 times in my life and never had an issue, all around 100k miles, on different cars. I'm going to do them soon on my 450h since it's around 100k.

If the 450H takes the DENSO FK20HBR11 spark plugs, Advance Auto Parts has 25% off all items this month (Code: UZWBBX).

Plus, if you spend $50, you'll get $5 in rewards to use towards another purchase. You can purchase 5 spark plugs and use the $5 off for the last plug. I paid a total of $64 for the Denso plugs for my GS. Dealer wanted $150 lol.

Your vibration can be caused by a number of things.

Plugs
Clogged fuel injectors
Engine Mounts
Stuck lifter/valve, something in the engine
Dirty MAF sensor
Dirty Intake Manifold

I would try a decent fuel treatment system like Redline and see if that does anything, also may want to try cleaning the MAF sensor, cleaning the intake manifold. Those are the cheapest and easiest to do.

Another thing about spark plugs, when I used to fish for black fish/tautog, I noticed a lot of the fisherman would use old spark plugs as sinkers because they were the right weight, free and you end up losing a lot of sinkers in the rocks when fishing for them. Very fun fish to catch.

I paid $77.80 for 6, bought it with my brakes/front rotors, bought it from Lexus of West Kendall online. For the 450h its Denso FK20HBR8
