Lol. It's kpmf matte metallic yellow. I didn't wrap the sensors bcuz it looked a little funky with the circles cutout. If I can get perfect circles cutout, then I'd do them. Well the lid is carbon fiber, why would u want to wrap that🤷🏽♂️ People love the color, definitely hard to get a good idea of it in pics. Trust me, it had to grow on me as well. In the sun it looks amazing
That color looks sick, why are the front parking sensors and the trunk wrapped in this pic? I think it looks more complete with the sensors wrapped and the trunk wrapped, with the black on the rear wing. Otherwise imo it looks incomplete.
I warped the center front of my 2013 f-sport bumper gloss black and what I did was remove the sensor from the bumper, wrap it, then put it in, making it a perfect wrap and fit for the sensor. No need to cut perfect circles.

Hmm, I may try that. I just wasn't trying to remove the bumper when I wrapped it. As far as the trunk lid, I just put it on and I kind of like the carbon fiber look. But it's one of those things that I always have the option to wrap it.

So you wrapped the entire car yourself? Have you wrapped other cars before this?
Also aren't your sensors flush mounted? Why did you cut the opening for the sensor and not just wrap the sensor and bumper as one piece?

The color looks like fun. Reminds me of BMW M3.
The trunk lid must have cost a bundle. Question is do yo get any weight loss to enhance performance? Carbon fiber is used on exotics to reduce weight. BMW uses it on limited “competition” models that delete certain creature comforts on door trim, etc. Roof panels void of sunroofs are further weight reduction techniques. Somtimes light weight aluminum is used or even better carbon fiber panels.
When we wrap our cars it adds weight. When we put in heavy amplifiers and subs, it adds weight.
When we install heavy chain look license plate frames, we add weight. You negate any performance benefits of the trunk by the plate frame.
Mods are a form of self expression and owners are prideful and enjoy the attention.
The most cost effective mods for performance are those not seen. Then we move to what is heard.
When we install mods that are found on cars built for speed but on a Lexus SIMULATE performance its suggests poser.
The only one that has to like what you’ve done is you!

Yes, I wrapped it myself. Not that hard of a task, just need to watch a ton of YouTube. I wrapped my Genesis before this car. The sensors come out. Wrapping that in one piece comes with a few possibilities. It would more than likely start to lift since there's a gap around the hole and sensor. More than likely the piece would eventually fail. From what I've seen, manufacturers recommend to remove it and wrap it separately. Here's a pic of my last wrap job

Ghicks99... any more pics? Personally I prefer the car without the CF trunk... all one color is a lot better to me. The color is insane, in both a good and bad way... too loud for a just a wrap... it's got to be showcar-modded with lots other goodies to carry that brightness. Let's see some more pics!
