It’s easy, v8 vs v6. Forget the looks, comfort, and options, it will come down to which engine you want. Either car you buy you will not regret, so it boils down to how much you want to spend on maintenance and fuel.

Another thing to consider is the availability of these two cars in your price range. Then you must consider miles, options and history of maintenance, repairs and body damage/repairs. You may find that you need to extend a search to other states beside MN. We have another member still looking for over a month now with similar price restrictions for an LS. Probably more GS models available for sale but only a search will tell.

If u like to push and drive ur car rather hard, the GS is better. It's light and quick on its feet, this car feels nimble for its size. The LS is too big and heavy to do anything like that.

I've owned 2 RCs and the new ES now and I can say the GS can eat those cars for breakfast, lunch and dinner when it comes to performance. The harder u push the GS, the happier it gets. It makes u go like dis:
