Default Moonroof rattle again

So as many of you probably remember that read my previous posts I had the notorious moonroof rattle that alot of us GS owners experience. I had replaced the seal and lubricated any hinges in the past which didn't help the noise at all. Anyways it was fixed by replacing the sunroof deflector. 15,000kms later (as the weather got cold again) the great rattle has returned I'm going to have to take it back to the dealer see what they can do.

Any ideas? I'm going to guess its the deflector again but who knows could be another issue now. Love this car but experiencing the moonroof rattle over and over is pretty frustrating.

The revised seal should have permanently fixed the problem. I'm 30k on a new seal and issue never returned. Push on the glass to see if the moonroof is loose, maybe the 4 bolts holding it in place came loose since you replaced the seal.

I just dropped my Gs 350 f sport at the dealer on Saturday for the creaking sunroof that was fixed last year.. even though I’m past my basic warranty they are taking care of it for free.. also tried to replicate some rattles that had been in my file while still under basic warranty... but of course we could not replicate those other annoying rattles.. getting a 2020 rx350 for a few days is a plus though!

I had the same problem, replacing the seal fixed it for about a year, then it came back. I had the dealer replace some of the hardware in the sunroof but it did not work. So I replaced the seal again and it's quiet for now. Guess it could be a preventative maintenance item....
