Here's a weird one. Recently when I would touch a door handle the doors did not respond. Everything else the key fob should do worked fine, just wouldn't unlock the doors. Plus when lock
car with key fob, got long, long beep. Two dealers said probably battery in key going bad, and this was just the first indication. Said actuator in doors could be bad. Checked battery and it ok ,replaced it anyway. Then just for heck of it
used my second key, everything worked, including unlocking doors. No battery problem, no actuator problem, one key just quit unlocking doors, but did everything else.
Any ideas?

 

The long beep on lock is a strange one: that happens when you try to lock the car with a door open.

If the behavior between two fobs is different, the problem is definitely the fob.
