How often do you all find yourself replacing the front brakes on your fsports? I have a 2014 AWD Fsport. I take my car to Toyota for service and had the brakes replaced about 2000 miles ago, rotors were also resurfaced. I’m back at Toyota today because Im feeling the same vibration I felt before I had the brakes changed 2000 miles ago. I’ll admit that I’m a spirited driver at times but I don’t ride the brakes, also 90% of my driving is on the highway. What gives? Do I need to try a different brand of brakes?
The service person at Toyota is telling me that the issue has everything to do with the way I drive, but I don’t agree. What say you?

could be alot of things, bent rims, unbalanced tires, worn suspension parts etc. is it vibration during hard braking? rather than resurfacing the rotors, you could have replaced them. i dunno what else to say on the matter
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I feel the vibration during hard braking, especially when slowing down to exit the freeway.
I have brand new tires on the car so the wheels are balanced and the rims aren’t bent. I’ll have the techs look at the suspension while I’m here at Toyota.
If you get vibration under braking you have a warped rotor. The OEM ones don't warp easily or I haven't heard a case about them warping. Did they resurface all the rotors? Are you the original owner? Do you know if the rotors they resurfaceed were oem or aftermarket? If it was warped before the resurfacing probably was a temporary fix, would have been better to replace them. I'm at 95k on stock rotors, never resurfaced. Then again I don't drive the car hard and I have a hybrid.

Yeah I didn't buy it to be environmentally friendly, just for the better mpg and a quieter ride. It's something else when you come to a complete stop and hear nothing, also very quiet at low speeds.
I mentioned hybrid because the regenerative braking helps put less wear of the braking system.
I put new rear brake pads and new rotors on at 51k and just changed them out with new pads and rotors at 101k. So 50k miles on the rears. Front pads and rotors I replaced at 67k and will be changing them in the next month, currently at 104k. So my fronts seem to wear a little faster than the rears. I live in western PA where there are lots of hills, and I do drive it hard occasionally. I use Akebono ceramic pads and OEM rotors.
Based on what you are saying, I think it may be worth having the rotors replaced rather than just resurfaced. All three times I've done my brakes, any shuddering or vibrations I had noticed were eliminated until the pads got low again.
Edit: This is of course assuming you don't have a different problem with tires, suspension, etc.

How intense is the vibration? I know this is going to sound bizare but is it just "in the pedal" or does it actually shake the car? If it's just subtle it could also be your rears were worn out, too. This tends not to shake the car but it won't be a perfectly smooth pedal
feel.
What's the total mileage on the car? A typical GS AWD can have brakes that last from 25-50K depending on driving styles and city/highway mix etc.
