I’m stuck in a tight spot trying to figure out which bumper upgrade to do on my 2015 GS 350FSPORT with out changing headlights and is the best Quality.The three that keep getting brought up are eBay, esprit, ikon. What are your thoughts?

I think the 'eBay' and Ikon are the same. The Espirits would be your best bet. Aimgain is also another option.

 

Yeah the Ikon and Ebay one are the same thing and are more durable as they are made of PU and flexible but there are fitment issues you'd have to work out. The Esprit is the best looking one in my opinion and also is good quality but not sure of the price. There is also Aimgain which is hella expensive and fiberglass, plus takes forever to ship but I wouldn't recommend that route personally. The one thing I'll say about the Ikon/eBay one is that it is the only one that comes with all the grills (Center and sides) for the price, the others make you buy the center grill separately (2016+ OEM F Sport Grill) which will cost more money than the already heavy price.

 

I was really debating these as well. And I finally concluded that it wouldn't be the look i was going for. IMO the 2013-2015 looks more aggressive with the color bar. BUT then i saw this

Is your grill even bigger ? Also is your are the triple beam lights fully functional ? (Auto level, Daylight sensing etc.) Was this a conversion kit or custom ? MORE PICS !!!

 

The grill is the same as that white GS you posted. Yes, they're fully functional besides AFS (a ***** to work with). And it is 100% custom with the help of the OEM 16 FSport bumper.

 

Do you have the F-sport? I guess that's why you never got the afs to work correctly, I think there was a member here who found out how to turn the dash light off even though afs doesn't work. I did the same headlight swap on my GSh and afs works. I just had to change the headlight swivel ecu located behind a panel in the drivers foot area, also install the afs on/off switch under the dash.

 

Man, he taped the dash light with electrical tape.. lol
and yes I have the FSport

 

I had a TPMS light on my last car(2010 Civic), what i did was take the instrument cluster out, take it apart and put the electrical tape on the back side of the cluster over the opening for the TPMS light. That way you don't see any tape, light is on but you'll never see it. Otherwise here in Virginia I would fail inspection for any warning lights in the cluster.

Hi, so you can actually use 16+ front bumper on 15? What about the headlight portion? How did you make that work? I would love this, but wondering what it actually takes. Thanks!

 

You cut the headlight portion from the 15, then mold it to the 16 bumper.

 

I just want those tri-beam headlights, I'll keep my '15 bumper. Those look nice.

Then someone hit my car beginning of this year so I switched to the f-sport bumper.


Then my PPF was damaged and when they took it off to redo it the paint in the center of my bumper ripped off, so he sanded it and blacked out the center with vinyl.



I'm still going to fix the border of the Black center with some pinstripe tape to get it perfect then install my l-style front lip.
