My 2019 GS seems to have a slight play on the driver's seat, this is more noticeable during hard stops, there's a little rocking back and forth but just a little. Is this normal for the newer GS? I don't remember my 14 having this issue.
I had the same problem with my RC before but it was a lot worse and u can rock it by hand and dealer fixed it by replacing the seat tracks. I don't really want to tear apart a new car cause usually it comes back with more scratches.

Same here, I have it also and yes I don't want them to tear open my ride like you said.
Mine is a 2017.
My original seats on my 2013 had this problem, then I upgraded to the lux seats and problem solved. Initially it bothered me, but I got used to it eventually. Sucks that some 2019 still have the same issue I thought it was only a 2013 problem.
Is it not just the seat retaining bolts that's loose? According to the service schedule mine with 60000 miles is due to have both front seats tightened, but I'm not sure to what torque...

When I installed my lux seats I just hit it with an impact gun. There is no specific torque, just tight. When I removed the original seats I had to use an impact gun because the factory had them on really tight.

There is a lot of leverage put on seat bolts and brackets due to the fact that all the [human body] weight is actually quite far from the actual attachment (bolts/brackets) points.

I'm pretty sure these were put on with an impact gun from the factory. Even with a small breaker bar, the angle is awkward were I started to round off the bolt trying to take it off. I got a ryobi impact gun and it came off in 20 seconds.
