A week after getting the Tanabe springs put on I went and got the alignment done. Seems to be a common issue, not getting the alignment back into spec after installing springs. Any thoughts/suggestions on what to do? Install camber kit? Close enough so just leave it alone? Thanks!
You could likely live with the front camber but the rear is a bit off -- and will show over time with the inner tread of the rear tire wearing out much faster the rest. Personally, I don't think any of this is a safety concern ... it's just more of a hassle because you want to prevent pre-mature tire wear.
If you use tires that don't last that long (anything under 30k), it may not make a huge difference because the tire is going to wear out quicker than the time it takes for the negative camber to really affect it. However, if you have longer lasting tires, then the negative camber will greatly affect it because your tire will wear out much quicker than the rest of the tread.
You can go to a good alignment shop and have them put some camber kits on the front and the rears. That would be the proper fix. Purchase a good kit, have it installed once, re do the alignment, and you're good and back to factory specs! It's really not that big of a deal.... it's one of the thing about messing around with aftermarket parts..... In many ways, playing with aftermarket stuff will start leading to other things, as in this case.
But again, this is all part of the fun and adventure with modifying a vehicle!
