At ~$5 a pop, it's kind of hard to beat from a price standpoint. Not sure how well they preform though.

I have been using the K&N filters for the last 40K miles on my GS and my Mom's ES as well. If I remember correctly, the filter size matched OEM when I converted over and compared the filter size.

Upon physical inspection, the filter quality appears to be good. I don't recall if it has a few less pleats, but I have never found my oil (Mobil 1) to have any abnormal issues at the 10K interval. To be fair, I have not sent the oil for analysis, but like you, I believe K&N has a quality product.

Sorry to bump a thread. I have some YZZA3 and YZZA5 filters from when my wife had an IS. Can either/both these filters be used on a 2016 GS350 RWD?

Are they the same length? If so I'd say yes, as it's been a while since I dealt with this. I was confused as I found two part numbers for the same filter for a 2013 GS350. Seems like one came with a drain spout and one did not hence the different numbers but the filter itself was the same. Can anyone confirm?
