No fender work yet. I am nowhere near low enough to need it. I am getting air suspension installed soon and will have the fenders shaved then. I would verify with Varrstoen if their wheels clear BBK. I know that the wheels are one piece but I don't know how the offsets work. If you decide not install springs or lower your car at all, you won't need any fender work. As jdpdata said, springs will cause your shocks to wear out faster. My springs were a temporary thing.

Smaller contact patch
Less grip (friction)
Poor handling
Run on a portion of the sidewalls in heavy cornering
Probably don't conform to tire/wheel specifications
Could be an insurance issue

Yes, they are, but it's not as bad as some of the other wheels I've seen.

Ah ok. I highly doubt I’ll lower my car but it’s something I might look into in the future. As dar as the poor handling goes I guess if i wanna go slightly stretched I’m gonna have to drive more cautious since I do kind of haul *** in this thing around corners. As far as clearing the brakes goes I’m thinking that calling the company would be a smart idea. Thanks for everyone’s input I really do appreciate it.

So quick question about springs. I know that lowering springs are a temporary thing but what about swift springs. Are they just as temporary? Are there any coilovers that isn't 2k+ that lets you lower the car a tad?

Swift makes some high quality springs. But they only lower your car about 0.75". BC makes some cheaper coilovers but IMO they're Chinese crap. I'd save up for decent quality like RSR or CKS coilovers.

i was just looking uo some swift spring threads but it doesnt look like anyone has reported back after extended driving with them. ive only read that the lowering coils made the struts give out premature. im either looking to keep it at stock height or at most lower it like an inch just to hug the road a little better along with sway bars and strut brace.

If you are looking just to lower about 0.75" Swift is a very good spring to go with. Just don't expect to see much of a difference from stock height. I'd still recommend saving up for coilovers. They give you way more adjustments to achieve the ride height you're looking for. Plus dampers and springs are perfectly matched for a much better ride than with just springs alone. Also be realistic with your expectations, this is a large, heavy car. You'll never get it to be like an M3 regardless whatever you do to it. I can say after doing RSR coilovers on mine, I can take corners with much more confidence. Body roll is much less. But it is at the sacrifice of some comfort and there will be some rubbing if you lower too much. Ride is much stiffer now. So if you want to retain ride comfort and stay most stock, go Swift springs. If you want lots more adjustments, go coilovers. You can also customize BC coilovers with Swift springs. Some members here have those and loves them.

yeah i really dont wanna lower it past 1" i just wanna kill a little gap because i think i've decided to go 19's with meaty tires because i do drive a little on the faster side and i definitely don't expect M3/M5 performance out of a boat vehicle. but i do think i might go swift spring and sway bars just to keep the comfort and improve the handling just slightly.

Default I'm f***ed

If you guys are rubbing on 10.5 😱 I'm screwed. I'm going 19×10 in the fronts and 11 in the back. Guess I'll have to see how it goes

You planning on doing widebody? Those width will not work with stock fenders.

Not quite sure not. Don't think I'm ready to drop that much money any I wide kit. Especially if my 240 doesn't have one yet.
