but im just trying to say is that with that price comparing to the ebay one its more worth it since both bumper have to pay the bodyshop to touch up to make it look right thats more $$. i understand if the ebay one and aimgain is almost the same price i would of course go with the aimgain, but the price difference is night and day plus you have to wait couple weeks for the bumper to come. eventho i saw only one member said the fitment is bad and i dont see any other member have the aimgain front bumper say its perfect fit. right now so i have to only trust that member on what his experience was. but if i saw few more member have the aimgain and they all say its perfect fit without the bodyshop doing any touch up work on it then of course we will tell other forum member to go with aimgain. thats my thinking im not trying to bash on aimgain kit. i love them it just that the price that we have to pay for the bumper and have to let a bodyshop to touch up to make it looks good is not worth the money comparing to the ebay. one more time im not bashing on you or aimgain kit im just want to let other member know what the other member experience with the aimgain kit and the ebay kit.
The only thing he claimed was that the inserts required professional installation. (all body kits should have professional installation).
There are other variables at play there because he received a 2nd bumper..
Well, I have the Aimgain front end conversion and the rear valance. Here's my thought:
1. It took around 7 months for the kit to be delivered...this is too long of a wait (and was delivered to wrong address. I didn't order from Top End Motorsports so I can't say about them).
2. The initial quality of the bumper was not impressive for the price it cost. Lots of imperfections that needed filling and sanding. Even though the bumper was meant for 4GS, it did not fit correctly. Gaps in multiple areas and holes that didn't line up. Definitely need body shop work.
3. The worse part was the fog light grill. There were areas where there were holes in the fake grill molds and some areas needed literally chisel to get the material build ups in the corners. Then after hours of sanding and filling, the grill doesn't fit right. You'll need a rubber surround (we used one off of Tundra fog light grill) to fill in the gaps which worked pretty well. They should include that in this kit.
4. Hope to God I don't hit anything solid even if it's small because it's fiberglass...I kept my OEM front just in case...
Believe it or not, the end result is very good. I may not be 100% satisfied but I'm happy with it. I would totally understand if some of you don't want to deal with the mess and save up some more (but not that much more) to get a RR racing SC lol.

It came out beautiful and thank you for providing an update and your thoughts. Like I said before and I'll say it again, for the asking price, I absolutely would have wanted a direct fitment. Your post was the reason I decided not to shell out $10K for the wide body kit from AIMGAIN. If their craftsmanship on a bumper is this awful, no thank you I'll spend my money on something else.

Bumper is ~$1800 + install, and RRR SuperCharger is around $6600 +install?
i think the bumper $1800 + touch up and etc would cost more than the ebay one thats my thinking. the ebay is $600-800 forgot then mybe i say $1k-$2k to touch up and paint that would be $3k total. but the aimgain one $2k+$2k = $4k thats $1k more which is a lot of money to save. if the aimgain is perfect fit and etc thats diff story but the kit is same as an ebay bumper have a lot of stuff to touch up before painting.

If your concern is only about price, then eBay spec parts may work for you.
When you buy brand name products it's usually about much more than just price.
I'm willing to bet that the eBay bumper is just another ripped-off boot-leg replica of the original AIMGAIN bumper. eBay products rarely (ever?) use original designs with original molds. They take an original product, make a mold of it, then make copies (copy of a copy). The fitment is always inferior to the original. It's a black-market crime that's difficult to enforce because they're usually produced in China and sold in a country outside the original. It is very expensive to pursue any copyright infringement, let-alone an international one.

I reached out to another user, @Neoj2y , who said his conversion had excellent fitment.
I also read another review (converted from Japanese) that sounded like they did do filling/sanding, but was very happy with the final product.
In doing more research I found another company with a conversion bumper called Trump Square, but the price appeared to be closer to $3000 and with GSF grills that may show unpleasant framing/tanks.

Here are some more photos of actual AIMGAIN conversions that I found ..
Not sure why you keep posting pictures. No one is arguing aesthetics. The primary complaint is the product was designed for the 4GS yet requires quite a bit of work to install. The price point does not justify the craftsmanship which is the reason why everyone is referring to the eBay knock-off. I'm buying another GS soon and will end up getting the knock-off, will take my chances.
