Default No door lock feedback tone

I checked my settings and it's set to around 5 or 6, so I don't understand why there's no feedback tone when I lock my doors. All doors lock and the lights flash, just no beep. I even checked the setting with Techstream, same deal. Is there anything I might be missing. I don't actually mind no tone, but I'm curious why it's not working.

Are you getting any warning chimes such as getting out of the car with your key fob while it is running?
That should trigger a three (3) chime signal.

No, I don't get that either, which makes me think the beeper itself does not work.

Yes, I checked those and the volume was set to either 5 or 6.

If it makes you feel better, I turned the lock/unlock feedback off. I dislike the fact that it's identical to the Toyota one. I was never a fan of the Toyota lock/unlock sounds (I've always liked Acura's, Mercedes' when it was a chirp back in the day and not the honking it is now, & BMW's).

That sound is so closely associated with Toyota's in my mind and is not something I necessarily want to think about every time I get into and out of my fancy Toyota.

I also like the fact that it's more stealth and doesn't draw attention to me/the car when I'm getting in and out of it. Feels a little less "showy" imo.

I actually don't miss the tone either. I was just curious what happened to it. I bought this car used and it came this way. I just assumed the previous owner turned off the tone in the LPS, so I was surprised to see that it was on. I also was concerned that maybe one of the doors was not locking properly, but that doesn't appear to be the issue either. I'd just like to know why it's not working for my own sense of curiosity, not because I miss it, per se.

I wonder if the previous owner did this:

Default Lexus rx350 2015 no feedback tone

Anybody knows how much does it cost to fix the problem or what part needs to be replaced why it doesn't work? My settings are correct in the car and I have the same problem.
