Reach out to GROM support. They are really good at getting things like this resolved.

Just updated to 3.19 looks like GROM changed the launcher GUI. Looks a lot better!

For a moment I thought you were being sarcastic. Thought the update made the launcher GUI upside down.

EDIT: Here it is rotated.

That new grid icon shows you almost all the apps. I like it

@eddie420 thanks! silly iPhone upload..

@jdpdata I set my default color for the Lexus OEM to brown and black. I guess with the cursor over on the VL2 side with these settings it looks better than the default blue scheme.

@bob256K I'm asking about your background wallpaper that looks like Stainless Steel. It seems to cover the entire screen, both right and left side? How did you do this? You have a 2015 F Sport like me right?
In Lexus OEM Infotainment, I can only change the Startup and Screen Off images. I can't find where to change the entire wallpaper background.

@Jdpdata ohhh, let me check; i'll take pictures next time I hop in the car. the OEM infotainment can be pretty good, in some use cases. I still really like the fact that the OEM GPS will display each upcoming exit, along with whether that exit has gas, a Hoel, food, etc. I still haven't found a maps app that does that, neither google, apple, or Waze.

Bob - here is mine mounted under the pull out tray in the center console. Fits perfect and frees up space in the glove box (wife uses it to store grocery bags). The power cable was just long enough - I wish I had 2 more inches. Ran the wires down the right side of the center console. As Eddie said - there lots of room there.

@whitfield I I might have to take a look at mounting it there... my VL2 is in the glovebox right now. Wherever I move it I am going to seriously investigate building a remote reset switch. I had to pull power to the VL2 yesterday which requires me to open the glovebox abs unplug one of the connectors. It rarely is needed nowadays but I'm getting tired of doing it, plus I usually need to pull over to do that.

@JDPDATA i didn't forget about the pictures of the screen settings , I just been really busy. Just got a loaner from Lexus thru enterprise for the fuel pump recall, my car wasn't acting up but I'd better be safe than sorry given my family does drive quite a bit even in the pandemic as my wife is an essential worker.

Really wish they would have had a Lexus dealer's car but alas; pretty much all new Lexus are affected so you can't drive them, and the ones that are fixed the dealer is trying to sell

This doesn't look too bad, but I spent so much time trying to route one cable with my big hands behind the dash that there's no way I'm relocating it. It's staying in the glove box. I haven't had to reset it in months though so it doesn't really matter at this point. Console install looks nice though.

Yes, this is exactly the location I was speaking of. Plenty of space that typically wouls go to waste. Thank you for sharing a pic of the install.

The Center console in the GS gets really warm. Are you guys not concerned about poor air circulation ?

No. I have had an active Li-on battery pack in there through the summer and all year around, no issues. Maybe Grom has operating environmental conditions listed somewhere, I have not bothered looking for them.
