I just replaced my steering wheel with DCTMS carbon wheel.
The steps are pretty straight forward. Watching some YT videos will help you get the idea.

1. disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. wait couple minutes
3. remove 2 plastic caps on each side of wheel
4. press in 3 springs with screw driver to dislodge the airbag
4a. remove all the connector cables
5. remove airbag carefully!
6. remove center 19mm bolt.
7. yank out the steering wheel towards you..fyi, it will be very hard, just pull very hard
8. you'll need to transfer over all the buttons, paddles, and switches. Pretty straight forward once you remove the wheel.
9. reinstall your new wheel in reverse order.
10. It will be a ***** to line up the wheel. Mine is off 2-3 degrees toward right. Trial & Error until you get it right centered.

From the looks of the picture above, looks like you'll need to transfer over the lock springs too.
I didn't need to do that on my DCTMS since it's already on there.
Watch some YT videos to show you how to do this. Very easy!

CL Member @eddie420 wrote up a great HOW-TO for dash removal.

I didn't remove with the clock spring when I swapped my wheel for the one from the Lux model.

You just need to make sure the spiral cable is centered and the yellow mark shows in the window.
See attached document.

Thanks for posting these instructions. Do I need to worry about Performing VGRS calibration?
When I installed my DCTMS wheel, I made sure the keep the front wheel facing straight.
I forgot the check the Alignment mark and Colored Roller (Yellow). But they shouldn't have moved since I take care not to rotate the wheel at all during removal/installation.

Yeah I don't think you would have to re-calibrate. If you pulled it strait off and put it strait on the yellow mark would have been aligned anyway.

VGRS calibration is simply rotating the wheel clockwise and countercounterclockwise 3 times slowly and then driving 25mph or more for 5 seconds. Never had any issues but I perform it anyway.

You mean turn the steering wheel clockwise until lock then return to center, then repeat 2 more times.
After that just drive 25mph or more for a few seconds?
I'll do that today just to be safe.

My bad. There is a difference between VGRS and steering sensor calibration. Here is the difference. There is no need for VGRS calirbation, only zero point calibration.

VGRS Calibration:
Use this procedure to center the steering wheel if:
The steering actuator assembly has been replaced.
  • The VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) has been replaced.
  • The steering column assembly or steering intermediate shaft has been disconnected.
  • The front wheel alignment has been adjusted.
  • The steering wheel is still off-center after completing the steering sensor initialization.

STEERING SENSOR INITIALIZATION
If the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal or the steering sensor connector is disconnected, the steering sensor zero point may be cleared.
  • Even when the steering sensor zero point calibration has not been performed, the master warning light does not illuminate.
(a) Start the engine.
(b) Slowly turn the steering wheel 360° clockwise and counterclockwise twice or three times.
(c) Drive the vehicle on a straight road at 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for 5 seconds or more.
