hey guys i have an invidia exhaust on my car this light turns on. When i reset the lights it comes back on after like 6 months this been happing since i had the exhaust it does not come on till 6 months after?
what do you think is the cause faulty o2 sensors?

This happened to my 2GS when I had around 100k miles. I got a similar error and it turned out to be a failing catalytic converter and a bad sensor. The primary symptom back then for for me was poor acceleration and poor gas mileage.
I hope in your case, its not a bad catalytic because those are pricey - most likely its a bad sensor but I'd get that checked out by a local mechanic before buying any parts...

I didn't have that exact scenario happen...I used to clear the code with my uncle's ODBII tool to pass my inspection until I was able to save up enough to replace the catalytic. Once i'd clear the error, it would come back after a few days or a few weeks.

when i reset the code my dosen't come back until couple of months like 4 months after. which i think is either the sensor or the exhast has a leak through the gasket

If its an exhaust leak, the leak would be before the sensor. Check the gasket connection just before the sensor. If you see black soot around that area, then more than likely you have a leak or you can do the soapy water spray test in that area.

The exhaust leak or a bad sensor could be triggering it. Even after 4 months, the leak could be small enough to trigger then. Or your sensor (and maybe the wires/connectors of the sensor) could be going bad and working intermittently which would be throwing the error after 4 months. Process of elimination, easiest is to make sure you don't have leaks. Then if it still throws and error later, try replacing the sensor (keep in mind you have 1 on each side).
