I believe a Nav update can only be done by Lexus, so check Lexus Drivers and see if an update is available...
No I did the update myself, the 2015+ head units has an sd card. You just insert the latest SD card in the slot under the cd drive, and presto maps updated.

Only 2013-2014 was dealer only install.
I know.. I meant a download via the Lexus Drivers website, not at the actual dealer.
I just purchased a pre owned 2015 gs 350. Where do I find the map update on Lexus website ?
i tried looking it up on the lexu,s website and it says that I have to take it to ma dealer

Map updates are available only at the dealer or you can buy an SD card from eBay or something. Dealer charges around $320 for an update... insane.
Thanks. Are you certain this will work on a 2015 GS 350? I don't remember where, but I have read that 2015 year models are on GEN8 and not GEN9 maps.
Would appreciate if someone can re-confirm
I still don't understand why can't Toyota/Lexus just allow Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface and be done with it. Smart phone is way more user friendly than the Enform App, no matter how Toyota refines it. Not to mention you'll never have to worry about map updates and paying the insane price for it.

but if you wait about a month Lexus will release its next update.
Peasodos, is this the dealer you bought you update card from? They are offering a Gen9 V17.1 (PT219-Gen09-V17). In the video you posted the guy had a PT219-Gen08-V17 he installed in his 2015 GS 350 F-Sport. The bag it came in said it was for GS350/450h 2015-2016.

That dealership sells both. I actually installed the same one in the video. I'm not sure if 2016 is gen 8 or gen 9.
according to this chart both fit 2016

check your map info under options on the map screen, I think you can see what version your car has currently, might say what generation.
