Default DIY AWD axle replacement?

2013 AWD GS350 F sport... Front passenger axle is going bad. How hard is this DIY? Anyone attempted it yet or experience with it? I see YouTube videos but it’s all older models. How different is the 3rd gen from the 4th gen?

So my front driver side axle is bad and the boot is ripped. Lexus quoted me $$5500 haha. Might try a local shop and see what they say

...that sounds like a lot...considering I had a timing belt done by a Lexus dealer for $1200.

How much of that was parts vs labor?
