Default 2013 Nice Gas Mileage

Trip from Jacksonville to Pensacola and no reason to get there early so I set the cruise on 72 and turned on ECO just to see what this thing could do if you drive it like a granny (which I NEVER do). Gotta say this is pretty impressive for a 2013 with 73k miles. Granted this was a topped off tank but the mileage doesn't lie.

Very impressive mpg. I think the highest my AWD 4GS has ever gotten was 28-29mpg.

Thats awesome...almost hybrid-like! Best i've done is 26mpg with my AWD .. i think the RWD might get a little better gas mileage overall.

I can get like 32-35 right after a fill up on the fwy for a while, then I punch it and average 21 mpg all around usually

I get the same thing. Right after a fill up I get great gas mileage for a while then it goes back to normal. Think it has to do with fresh gas being stored cooler, and more potent, than warm gas sitting in your tank.

Well congratulations to all of you! For my AWD, traveling 3 and 1/2 hours each direction every week on flat surface, and driving no faster than maybe 75 miles per hour, the best I get is 19 or 20MPG.

Flat central NC to coast, say avg 67mph (thats 75mphish on 65mph speed limit) I’d flirt with 30mpg for a 210 mile drive.
Some lights, some 55mph roads, some back roads too. Often full trunk full of supplies for beach house.
Over my 3 years of ownership the many discussions of MPG for the 3.5litre is quite varied.
Wifes 2018 A4 Allroad, 4cyl turbo gets 33 easy in same drive. For us, her long term MPG is 27 mixed driving. My GS was 22mpg.
AWD 2020 low mile car. 18 in town, 26-27 highway.
Great car with a huge trunk!

I'm originally from central North Carolina and have driven it many times. I just wish I had that kind of gas mileage.

What tires (inflation) do you have on your car?
