I'm in the market for an axle back, and have been searching on ebay, here, and craigslist daily. I've been seeing this axle back on ebay for a while and haven't seen anyone talk about it. Was just wondering if it's because it's trash or no one knows about it yet.

Yeah, I was wanting that one as well, but couldn't justify the ~$700 pricetag. I'm thinking of going with the Invidia as opposed to the Tanabe...I'm light on the gas pedal, so I want something with a little more growl at lower RPM's without an annoying in cabin drone.

 

Could not find anything for GS but they have some Camaro's and Subies, here is the video I found.

 

I have Joe Z Catback exhaust on mines. Me and my cousin went to try exhaust of his 14 GS at the exhaust shop, They cut the mufflers out and tried a few mufflers and ended up going with flowmasters exhaust. It sounds really good and unexpected.

 

I should be getting this exact Axle Back soon. Once I get it I will be Posting Pictures, and Videos of the fit, finish and my review of the exhaust altogether.

 

Prior to buying, I drove several GS F Sports, just to see if I wanted one.

One was a ‘14 GS 350 F Sport with a Borla cat back. It sounded sweet on the outside, but droned inside unless I was on the gas. 1500-2000 rpms—noise.

Nope. 20s and single, drone was no big—but I wouldn’t have wanted a 4 door sedan then.

Hey man! Did you end up going with this exhaust?

 

I actually did install it, sounds great. Been on for a year or so. Let me log in on my PC to upload. Had to switch usernames cause my other account was lost.

 

Sick! Is there a super noticeable difference? I've heard from everyone there isn't a difference in installing just the axleback, you need a mid pipe as well... did you do both or just the Rev9 exhaust?

 

@mikesd1980 I know this is super old post , but do you still have the '14 with the flowmasters? any video of how it sounds?
