I just talked to a Lexus rep and he told me that Pandora had made some changes to their app and there were communication problems that Lexus was not able to correct. He also said Pandora had no interest in making the necessary changes so the plan at Lexus is to eliminate the Pandora app!

For your device’s compatibility and pairing instructions, please visit Lexus Mobile Link or Bluetooth FAQs. For additional inquires regarding Lexus Enform App Suite 2.0, click here.We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We had better see something new showing up with this update. Even the lame Kia has Apple Car Play!

So, Pandora finally works after 5 weeks and now they want to delete it from the App Suite (or is it only the App Suite 2.0)? That's terrible! Even with all the problems, Pandora is by far the best music app in the suite.

You can play Pandora through bluetooth without using the app. All you lose are the pretty pictures of the album covers.

All you lose is money if the police see you using a cell phone in a motor vehicle; there is no way to change stations without using your hands on the cell phone (which is illegal here).

Default Reboot?

Did you try a reboot of the stereo? Turn on car, press and hold radio on button on the dash until you get the Lexus welcome screen. Then let off the button and let it do its thing. Worth a try.

You can advance to the next song without touching the phone. Thank you for your clever observation.

Can you change stations without touching the phone? That was his comment.

Has anyone else experienced this?
I have had the same issues for years - insufficient connectivity, app must be running, phone not connected. I finally gave up using it. Too annoying. Many times by the time I got to work, I had reached my destination.

However, I believe Lexus is finally getting rid of all the issues with Pandora. A few days ago, I received a letter from Lexus announcing that effective ... (I forget the date) they will no longer be supporting Pandora as part of the Enform App.

Way to go Lexus!

I don’t see how getting rid of a feature is a good thing. I’ve used Pandora through the Enform app every day for 5 years. This is a major disappointment for me.

I agree with JDR76. The Pandora part of the App Suite is far better than any of the other music apps. It is much superior functionally to the phone app via Bluetooth. And it has been functioning much better for the last week or two. I'll miss it when driving through Snoqualmie where XM cuts out continually.

Default SiriusXM Buys Pandora

Wonder if this had any influence with Lexus Dropping Pandora from the Enform App 2.0?

I bet that’s it. Well, it was nice having a low to no cost streaming service while it lasted. Can’t see XM not screwing up Pandora or raising the price to obnoxious...

I've liked Slacker better since the beginning. Not much difference.
