Whistle when starting

I hear a whistle like tweety bird when I start or stop my car. Dealer has no clue.

I’d check the belt tensioner and pulleys. I had to replace that twice already, at 35K and 50K

Check that Serpentine belt! I too had to change mine at 54k miles (https://www.mylparts.com/oem-parts/l...elt-99367k1550).

Just started hearing this yesterday morning when I first start mine up in the morning. Do you hear it every time you start it? Mine seems to only happen first thing in the morning.

Have your dealer check the alternator and/or alternator clutch for the whistle sound. Visually watch the nose of the alternator to see if the sound corresponds with the movement of the clutch.

The whistle noise you hear for ~90 seconds at cold startup is likely the secondary air pump. This related noise is typical and not an indication of a problem.
