I have the springs in the box in my basement for almost a year now but don’t know if I should spend the money on coil overs or say **** it and bag it. The cheapest way is the springs OBV. but is there any issues out there from lowering my 15 awd fsport with these springs?

Springs are good like Tanabe NF210, a lot of people on CL have them. With coilovers, you will lose some features but gain more options to customize ride height, stiffness, etc.

It's about reducing your sway and drag.
thank you. However the GS is not the fastest car and not very tuneing friendly. If you want a fast saden with room for tuning get a q50s. I want to lower my GS for looks to go with my vossen that’s been in my basement as well for a couple years.
I’m just wondering if anyone may have had a expensive repair due to dropping the car. Or if anything went on the suspension ect.
There's at least a few guys here who have killed their stock factory dampers/shocks by using lowering springs. You might have to search or poke around but I could have sworn I saw at least one post in the last
year where a guy put RSR downs in his GS, and not long after, one or more of his dampers started leaking.
Frankly its not the type of thing that I would approach lightly. There's a lot of stuff that changes when you alter the ride height...

Anytime you drop a car it alters the factory designed suspension dynamics and you can pretty much always count on additional tire wear that is related to the drop. Struts also are known to leak as well.
I’ve lowered my AWD 4GS on the down springs from RS-R. I read post for a few months before I bought the springs and it seems many guys were going through prematurely worn tires like crazy. I daily my car and the slammed looked wasn’t that important for me since I own 3 other cars that are my weekend toys.

I like my stock '15 AWD F setup with the 19's. For me, it's the perfect amount of form and function.
