I ordered a 2018 GS 350 AWD in Matador Red Mica in December. The dealer told me it was built last week. Does anyone know how long it will take to ship to Boston?

It takes 5 months from the date the order is accepted by Lexus, until delivery to you.

Ordered mine in March 2016, took delivery late August 2016.

Well, my '18 was built in October and was at the Los Angeles port in early December. Took about 3 1/2 weeks from LA via train to Chicago, then truck to Ohio.

So...I will guesstimate that the car would be in Boston somewhere in the late April timeframe. Give or take. Just a guess...

That's the same time frame with my 18. Built Oct. 17 and bought at dealer Dec. 5th 2017. Not sure how long it was at dealer before I bought it. Dealer was in Houston and had earlier built cars destroyed by the storm. Salesman showed me pics. of brand new cars being removed by fork lift when the water subsided. I love how people tease me that I bought a flood car. I tell them other than the mildew smell and getting half off It's just like new. Lol

Built date does NOT equal the day it was ordered. Mine was "built" in June. Received in late August. So as I said...5 months.

It probably depends what you are building in it? If it very common options and color, probably faster. But I see you got red so maybe 5 months like other member said.

What options did ya order?

The OP mentioned that his car was built last week. I agree order does not equal build (by a long shot), but he's asking about shipping time on an already built order.
