Enform system went wonky

The Enform infotainment system had some very strange things happen on my 2017 GS 350 F Sport in the past week. The first episode was the system completely shutting down on its own and then a few seconds later it rebooted and all was fine. The second episode the system controls ( volume, on/off, controller) had no affect- I couldn’t change the volume, go into the menu system, or change radio stations. I ended up pushing the volume **** in for about 5 seconds and then it rebooted and all was fine. There have been no issues since. I lan on discussing this with my dealer next month at its first service. Any ideas what might be going on? I have a feeling the dealer won’t do anything unless the system screws up at the dealership.

The system in my GS has been fine but I had lots of these types of issues on the system in my IS. Whenever I'd bring it in for service, I'd tell the service advisor about it and he'd look it up to see if there were any firmware updates. If so, they would update it while they were doing the service. This ended up fixing all of the little bugs my IS system had.

Be careful how hard you push in on the volume **** - a few owners pushed the volume **** in hard enough to get it stuck in that position. Some were able to get it back out, but they damaged the ****...and I believe some had to replace the entire head unit.
