Anyone ordered and installed this replacement bumper yet? Thinking of pulling the trigger and preordering but hating that 60-90 day wait. Anyone installed and have pics to give me some inspiration? Also share your thoughts and opinions on the bumper.

 

I remember seeing this bumper but wasn't sure if was actually available. It looks like the first pic it was done to a hybrid with the triple beam LEDs and I think it looks great. Its def. a GS-F bumper replica but Aimgain does make some quality stuff so I imagine its of good fit/finish.

Any details on if the fogs come with it/plug & play and if you'd need to paint? Does it come with the front lip as well?

Couple this front bumper with the 2016+ rear lens conversion and no one will know on quick glance that you're possibly riding in a 5-6 year old 4GS :-)

Yeah exactly! I trust with Aimgain it's of great quality and fit. I think it comes unpainted but does include the lip (I believe), and it works with the stock fogs but don't believe it comes with them.

 

How much would that run? It'd be nice if it was a direct fit.

 

ModinJapan (a vendor on here) takes preorders and sells these and can answer all those questions if you send them a message. Theres an old thread in the forum somewhere they posted with more information about the bumpers.

 

The fake vent mesh around the fog light looks as rice as the fake vent on the rear of the Civic Type R. Although it's next to a real vent still looks tacky to me.
I know rice I used to have a Civic.

 

I get it, but the stock F Sport also comes with fake vents that have inserts...I guess that makes the F Sport Rice too? Lol

 

Well fake or real in general, I guess it really depends on how well everything looks overall and everything ties in together.

 

Very true! I saw pics of the white one on Aimgain's IG for a more real look at it in actual outdoor lighting and it actually looks pretty slick haha. Not sure I'm going to get it though due to the long wait, it needing to be painted and having to also buy the stock 16+ grills...plus they say now you can't get the one with the CF inserts. I think I'll just go ahead and get a new lip (CF), side skirts (CF), some coils and some new wheels lol...in no particular order.

 

it appeaes that you would lose two parking assist sensors on the front buumper as well
