Default Wheel help

I ordered some new wheels for my wife's 2013 Luxury edition AWD GS. When they arrived Discount Tire tried to install them and said they won't fit because they do not clear the caliper. Stock wheels are 18X8 with 45 offset. New wheels are 19X8.5 with 38 offset. Why does the wheel not work? They said have to go to a 19X8.5 with a 32 offset. Will that work
and if so will it make the wheel stick too far out of the fender? This is the wheel in question.

I am just guessing here since I didn't fit the wheel to the car but I believe the concave design of the wheel is hitting the face of the caliper. Not the drum hitting the front side

The +32 offset should not stick out, my fronts are 19x8.5 +30 and the sit almost flush and no rubbing, but since your AWD not 100% sure

The design of the spokes (concaveness) also plays a big role here when changing wheels, especially with big calipers like the GS.

Thanks everyone. I am going to give the 32 offset a try. Yes Discount Tire ordered the original ones and said they were the correct application. If the 32 offset does not work out I will have to come up with another set of wheels.

Update I received the 32 offset wheels and they fit and look excellent. So much better than the Luxury Package 18 inchers.I would post pictures but ever since Photobucket went wacko I haven't taken the time to find another image hosting site.

Did you save the original wheels on your F Sport or did you sell them?
