I took out the two back corner sections of the trunk floor in my ever lasting attempt to get rid of the rotten egg smell and when I put everything back together I had this part left over. I can't find where it goes. All I really removed was the tool kit on one side and the hidden storage box on the other side.

I tried searching using what looks like an part number on the inside and got nothing. Look familiar to anyone?

I would re-visit the tool area. That looks like something that is supposed to hold the handle of a tool in or something.

 

Kinda looks like the cover for the trunk latch.
