Daylight Saving Time officially ended this morning at 2:00 AM. Don't forget that you have two (2) changes to make to your Lexus - (1) setting the Lexus analog dash clock back one hour, and (2) turning 'Off' the DST for the Navigation system. In the past, many owners were unaware that the Navigation system did not automatically change to, and from, DST.
(1) Change your Lexus analog dash clock by setting the time back one hour.
(2) Turn 'Off' the DST for the Navigation system. To turn 'Off' DST in the NAV system, go to Menu > Setup > General > System Time > Daylight Saving Time > Off > Save
With the correct time setup for your car's General System Time - it allows the Navigation system to provide an accurate Estimated Arrival Time to your destination...
Note: This 'On' and 'Off' Daylight Saving Time change is made in the General setup - not the Navigation setup.
Thanks for reminder. Why can't the NAV system update time automatically? It's getting GPS data, why can't it determine local time per car's location?

I guess with all the different areas of the country that the vehicle 'could' be used in - some going to DST and others not, some living near a border state that differs from their own state, etc. Lexus probably felt it was best to just have the owner make a simple change instead of it changing automatically with GPS data. Lots of sophisticated electronics including GPS units do not automatically make the DST change.
The only point in changing the NAV would be to have the correct estimated time of arrival when using the car's NAV system. If you never use the Lexus NAV system then there's no need to change it...and there's no need to even have the onboard NAV system. It's kind like having a filthy engine bay that nobody ever sees - some people like to keep it reasonable clean and others could care less. Maybe you could care less about the Lexus NAV system...even though it only take a few clicks to set it correctly. What's the point in not changing it?
In 2016MY+, the nav and analog can automatically change using GPS data (if setting turned on). I think you just need to drive outside for a bit.
Thanks! Yes, I believe Lexus did change it in model year 2016 so the NAV and analog dash clock works together and changes automatically from what I'm told. I should have said the change is needed to be done manually for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 model years.
I have 2015 and dashboard clock did not change automatically. I had to change it manually. Will check the nav clock if it changed automatically.
checked it, and it does change multimedia time automaticaly and doesn't the clock.

I got tired of waiting for my '16 to change and finally went in the menu and turned off the Daylight Savings Time so the clock would be right. If it does it automatically, it sure does take it's sweet time to do so..... even thought I had it set to change by GPS!

Maybe it was confused by your location. Doesn't most of Arizona not have Daylight Saving Time?
