Can’t find front emblem which is not black pearl. Black pearl is $135 kinda expensive for plastic emblem.
is regular chrome icon exist on a market and how match would it be. I saw LX570 chrome emblem which looks like ours, but it is 3 dimensial and looks much better.
any advise?

 

Can't find one at all or can't find one cheap? I posted the part number in this thread, Lexus 90975-02125 . Lot's of places sell them online and on ebay,.....but not very cheap!

Anyone happen to know if the RX/ES front emblem with radar Cruise might fit a GS? Mine is sun damaged and thinking of replacing it.

90975-02125 this one seems to be for GS without radar.

​​​​​​Parts Lexus mentions 53141-30490 for radar GS. Looking at eBay, it seems 53141-30500 is the same part. Those are around 160 -180.

There's plenty of 53141-33180 and 53141-48100 that show as radar compatible and are less than 40 for new ones. They are listed for the RX and ES, though. The back mounting posts look the same though.

Edit: after looking some more, it seems 53141-33180 actually have holes instead of posts. If cheap enough it might still be worth a try.

Edit 2: It seems the 48100 was superceded by the 30490. I'll give one of the cheaper 48100 ones a try.

I know the nuts that hold them on are 90183-06031.

 

Hello Lexus family I just wanted to state that I posted this same posting like 2 years ago and I am still trying to find the answer. That emblem that's in the link is the exact same that I wanted for my 2015 GS 350 but instead I wanted it lid up. If most of you can recall when you ever see a Mercedes go past you they have the emblem that is lit up and I think it looks so good and so I've been looking for the one that will light up the Lexus in the front and I was trying to find that for the front and back but I was unsuccessful. Can anyone help me out I'm still looking and willing to replace my front emblem.

Just be careful to get the right one if you have radar cruise. The radar friendly one is thinner and a couple hundred or so bucks. If you don’t, you can just get the norm or an illuminated one if that is your preference.

 

@EAST thank you so much for the reply I was able to look at what was offered through eBay. I see that they have a couple options but they all seem to be stick ons which my emblem is built into the grill so I'm going to have to make a lot of adjustments if I want to purchase that one. Or maybe I can put on top of my current one but I'll have to figure something out. I've contacted a couple of them online waiting to hear back from on a couple of suggestions for the front emblem that lights up in the back. Thank you so much for your reply.

 

I know this is a little off topic for this thread, but I just saw this menacing-looking LS today with a black F badge on the front. Just thought I'd share...

The eBay 48100 badge came in. I was able to remove the old one (30490) withought breaking the posts. If you wack the posts with a chisel and hammer enough, you can loosen the nuts enough to get a flat head under them and pry them off. You do have to remove the radar unit first though (2x 10mm and 2x silver Philips screws).

​​​​​​Anyways, comparing 48100 and 30490, you can tell that the 48100 is thicker. Mounted in, and went for a drive. The radar CC worked for about 5 mins before it shut off and gave the error message. It could see the cars ahead but maybe it was struggling to do so.

Oh well, guess I'll just polish up old one as much as possible and see how it looks. I do wonder if I might be able to reinitialize the radar unit to see if it can have a new "base" reading?
