Default Park assist sensor pushed in

While cleaning the car, I accidentally pushed one of the sensors in and now i have that annoying sound when the parking assist is on. It was very weird because I barely applied any force and the sensor just went in. I'm talking about the front left sensor on a 2013 GS F Sport. Any way i can snap it back into place without removing the front bumper? I tried looking to push it back in from above by removing the plastic cover in front of the radiator. I would prefer to do it myself instead of going to the dealer and spending a bunch of money. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think they are just pop back in the bumper and are held in place with some 3M double sided tape

My question was: do I have to take down the front bumper in order to push the sensor back in place or is there another option in order to avoid taking down the front bumper.

I would imagine you would have to pull it to get the sensor to fit right

CMED? What did you end up doing to resolve this? This idiot (me) just pushed mine in this evening while trying to rub the ice off the sensors....

You are asking your question of someone that made his post 1½ years ago and has only made 11 total posts as a member. I seriously doubt he will see your question or answer it. Maybe someone else that experienced the same problem will respond...

I got to my sensors through the fender liner. Same way as you would access your fog lights.

So SaintChuck, unfortunately, i couldn't do much on my own and i took it to the dealership and after $73 and 30 minutes later, the sensor was back in place. After some research, i realized that the work could have been done by me, but i didn't have the tools or the place to detach the bumper, etc.

Thanks Swat... Tight fit going through the fender liner?? Good visibility?? I stumbled upon a youtube vid of a guy going down through the front cover under the hood... I may have to do some yoga first.. And I don't do yoga.

I had the same issue 1 month after I bought a brand new lexus rx350h (2023). I spoke with lexus dealership, they said bring in the car and they`ll fix it. But I wasnt happy with the fix and called them again, they inspected the car again and told me the sensor holder needs to be replaced and they`ll have to order a new one. The most annoying part was them sending me a text before each appointment telling me "for faster check out visit our secure payment link". And i always told them the car is under warranty to which they responded ... "oh diagnostic charges are up to technicians discretion".
Anyways, they replaced it and its good now, they haven't charged me anything for all 3 visit but it definitely gave me anxiety every time.
