Default Traction control and BSM issues

Hey guys I recently picked up a 2013 GS350 F sport with 70K miles and I am loving it. Car is super clean and the only issues that I am running into is that the BSM will not turn on what so ever, and the traction control will not turn off. Ive tried holding the button down while stopped and nothing happens, almost as if both switches have failed. I have tried locating the fuses under the steering wheel and under the hood but haven't had any luck. Is there a 3rd fuse box I might be missing? Hs this happened to anyone else?

I just checked and yes both mirrors blink when you lock the car. I guess that rules out having a bad fuse haha

The BSM indicators don't blink when locking the car. The integrated indicators on the mirrors do, though.

OP, when you press the BSM button, does the light on the button illuminate green?

There's no light on the BSM button/switch.

In order to confirm operation, the BSM outside rear view mirror indicators illuminate
in the following situations:
• When the engine switch is turned to IGNITION ON mode while the BSM
main switch is set to ON.
• When the BSM main switch is set to ON while the engine switch is in IGNITION
ON mode.
If the system is functioning correctly, the BSM outside rear view mirror indicators
will turn off after a few seconds.
If the BSM outside rear view mirror indicators do not illuminate or do not turn off,
there may be a malfunction with the system.
If this occurs, have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
From the owner's manual -- is it showing you proper behavior during startup?

I have tried this and get nothing, the green light doesn't come on either. same with traction control, I cannot get it to deactivate. I think I need to look and see if the switches are plugged in.

Yea your next step would be checking the connectors. It's not a coincidence both switches aren't functioning.
