Default 2018 GS Update?

Any information yet? The GS A6 and 5 series all came out in 2011.

That's incorrect. The latest body style update for these models are: A6 2012, 5 Series 2011, GS 2013..

The 4GS was available in 2012 as a 2013 model. Most everyone on the forum has agreed that with the little bit of info that is available, the 4GS will remain in its current "refreshed" form until late 2018 when the 5GS will make its debut as a 2019: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...continued.html

I hope you are right and its just a rumor. I'm looking at GS as my next car, hope they keep it in line.

If you read through the comments of that Lexus Enthusiast thread you can see where the cancellation rumor is debunked.

Absolutely correct.

Most of the midsize luxury competitors are on a 7 year model cycle, eg:
2016 E Class
2017 5 Series
2018 A6
2019 5GS.

5GS will debut in 2019 as a 2020 model...

According to Motor Trend, not much in store for the '18 GS. Revised cruise control for GS F, name change:

Base Price: $47,500-$85,000*

Body Type: Sedan

Minor: Last year, the Lexus Safety System+ active safety suite became standard across the entire GS lineup. The turbocharged GS 200t receives a name change and is now called the GS 300 RWD. Gas and hybrid powertrain choices remain, with the most powerful being the 467-horsepower GS F sport sedan. The adaptive cruise control system in the GS F has also been upgraded to a full-speed version, and lane keep assist has been added.

Also Consider: Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Volvo S90.

Sum Up: The sport sedan for those who don’t want something European.

Just as an FYI, my 2013 was manufactured in December 2011. Not sure when it was revealed to the market.
