Default 2016+ sticky buttons

When Lexus switched the steering wheel and their center console buttons on the 2016+ Lexus, I had a bad feeling about them because they felt a lot cheaper. I used to drive a 2004 Acura TSX and I had problems with the steering wheel and center console buttons where it got really sticky and almost stuck (your couldn't press it down). Lo and behold, it happened on the center console button for the Lexus after a few thousand miles on an otherwise brand new car.

Hey me too! My button on the left is hard to press and it sweaks when I press on it. Like a door hinge. I have 2016 f sport USB

Don't have any issues with the buttons. I like the new steering wheel buttons the GS has, previous model had different buttons

That's kind of the issue I'm having, except it doesn't move at all, and then you press hard enough make a loud click noise and finally presses. Just a tad annoying. I'm perfectly content with everything else though.

Nope. Another symptom that doesn't seem to affect very many people. Definitely not my 2015. Enough wonderment that I have to guess what you might have accidentally transferred to the button edges to make them stick?

You have a 2015, not a 2016+.

Seems like cost cutting to me.

I have a 2016 F-sport and haven't had any problems with the wheel or console buttons. I love them. I've noticed the hold button requires a bit of extra pressure to engage - you can't just give it a quick tap like other buttons. This may be by design.

I did have a problem with the driver window button assembly - the entire thing was a little loose. The dealer tightened it up for me under warranty.
